About us
Tri-Star Worldwide Logistics was founded in 1990 by Ian Challis and Geoff Davis with the purpose of establishing a highly personalised, professional international freight forwarding and customs brokerage. By keeping this philosophy front and centre over 30 years of growth, we have developed a reputation as one of New Zealand’s leading independent freight forwarding and logistics providers. Over this time the company has grown to a team of over 50 experts across forwarding, customs and warehousing & distribution. Craig Abbott and Ernst Graf have been on the Tri-Star team since 2000 and 2006 respectively, and joined the directors team in 2013.
At Tri-Star Worldwide Logistics, we are on a journey to give back more to the environment than what we take. On behalf of our customers we are measuring their international transport emissions and in partnership contributing to environmental recovery through the planting of native trees. By confronting carbon emissions in transport, we plan to lead the way with our customers in restoring New Zealand’s natural environment for the benefit of all.

Our Community.
Community Days are one way we meet our commitment to the environment, and also strive to have a positive impact upon our wider community. We partnered with the organisation Conservation Volunteers for a series of community planting days targeted towards recovering a portion of our customers’ carbon emissions. We have more carbon recovery activities planned for 2020, so watch this space! Proudly partnered with Conservation Volunteers and Trees that Count.

Planting days are one part of our commitment to our environmental recovery programme, where we seek to recover some of the environmental impact of our freight movements. Our freight customers are invited to join the Tri-Star teams on these planting days held in conjunction with the Conservation Volunteers community. Tri-Star Mid-Winter Swim Cancer Society Fundraiser
June of 2019 saw Tri-Star’s inaugural mid-winter dip. We do this and other initiatives each year to support New Zealand Cancer Society.
Our supply partnerships and nationwide coverage appeal to a broad range of industry types from food importers to electricity providers. The emphasis we place on the experience and quality of our staff reflects in the consistently high level of service we deliver to all of our customers.
